Rail Museum Kranichstein

Hunting Lodge Museum Kranichstein

Museum Artists Colony (Künsterkolonie)

In the Ernst-Ludwig-House, the former studio building of the Darmstadt Artist`s Colony, the Museum Artists - Colony is located, which reviews the work of the artists who were members of the Artist Community Mathildenhöhe from 1899 until the beginning of the First World War. Old Town Museum in the Hinkelturm

It originated in an old defence tower of the town wall. On the second floor a large model of the old town is on display. Opening times: Sat and Sun 2-4pm, Tel.: 06151-24215

 

Castle Museum

In place of the old moated castle, the old castle in Renaissance style today stands with both baroque wings of the new castle, built by Remy de la Fosse from 1716 to 1727.
